Ever since he was a boy, Whit has worked on things and always kept an eye to the sky. At the age of 13 he began restoring his first VW Bug that became his daily driver through high school. Whit’s grandfather was an aviation mechanic in the Air Force and so that love of repairing things has been passed on for generations. From building model airplanes to flying RC aircraft, Whit has always been fascinated with flight.
Whit completed his A&P training, from Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas at the end of 2020, and worked full-time at TNT Aviation in Temple, Texas until Jan of 2024. Currently, Whit and his wife, Skiler are in the JAARS Fellows program in North Carolina which is preparing them to go to the field.
Whit and Skiler have been given a phenomenal opportunity to spend a month in Papua New Guinea this fall to work with a maintenance team on several aircraft at a mission base in PNG. Would you pray for Whit and Skiler? Would you also consider giving to help them raise the necessary funds to go and serve?
